Giving Tuesday

As the holiday season gets underway, please take a few moments on GivingTuesday—Tuesday, Nov. 28—to generously support your library. Free for everyone, the Broward County Library offers the gift of literacy all year long.

This year is the 11th Anniversary of the GivingTuesday movement, which was created as a simple idea: a day that encourages people to do good. Every donation makes possible Broward County Library’s vital literacy programs, such as the Summer Learning Program and the Children’s BookFest.

The Library Foundation was incorporated in 1982 to enhance the collections, programs and services of Broward County Library beyond the means of public funding. The nonprofit foundation is the catalyst in sparking private funding and endowments to enrich the Broward County Library System.
