Our board members serve as active ambassadors for the Library Foundation and are involved in our mission through board meeting attendance, committee work, support, and attendance at Literary Feast and through the investment in annual membership in the Foundation at the Jefferson Society ($1,000) level or higher.

The Library Foundation was incorporated in 1982 to enhance the collections, programs and services of Broward County Library beyond the means of public funding. The nonprofit foundation is the catalyst in sparking private funding and endowments to enrich the Broward County Library System.
