Volunteer for Literary Feast and Events

It takes a community of volunteers to help the Broward Public Library Foundation achieve its mission to support Broward County Library's programs and services. We welcome volunteers with a variety of skills to work at events throughout the county and in our office at the Main Library.

Become a volunteer and you'll be the first one to know of the upcoming events and the authors who will be in attendance.

Current volunteering opportunities:

Using the form on this site, interested volunteers can choose from a variety of activities that best match their interests, skills, and availability. Some of these are:

  • Work event days such as check-in, registration, and more
  • Pre-event community outreach and marketing including in-office and online projects
  • Assist with coordination of large-scale projects, such as silent auctions and author signings
  • Help with author logistics and chaperoning
  • Tell all your friends and contacts about the upcoming events and membership opportunities with the Foundation

This is a fun experience for anyone who loves books, is well organized, and dependable. We want to continue to build a group of volunteers we can count on for various tasks throughout the year that help support libraries and literacy in Broward County through our major literary events. We appreciate any time volunteers can donate.
