Fiscal Responsibility

At the Broward Public Library Foundation, we have a fiduciary responsibility to ensure that all gifts are used for the purposes intended by our donors. To ensure the efficient use of private funds, the foundation appoints an Investment Committee that provides financial oversight for the accounting, management and investment of all funds.

Audits are conducted annually by Robbins and Landino, a top-rated, Fort Lauderdale-based accounting and consulting firm specializing in non-profit organizations. Investments are managed by The Carroll Group of Morgan Stanley, which is also based in Fort Lauderdale.

The Broward Public Library Foundation is a 501(c)3 charitable organization registered with the IRS and the State of Florida. The Employer Identification Number (EIN) for the Foundation is 59-2224746. For a copy of the Foundation's most recent Form 990, please click here.
