The Other Mrs. Comes to Netflix AND to Broward County Library

LitLUNCH!, a professional women’s luncheon that kicks off Literary Feast, will host author Mary Kubica

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – October 24, 2019 – The Broward Public Library Foundation welcomes author Mary Kubica to the 11th annual LitLUNCH! on February 21, 2020. Kubica's novels have been translated into over thirty languages and have sold over two million copies worldwide. Her first novel, The Good Girl, was an Indie Next pick in August 2014, received a Strand Critics Nomination for Best First Novel, and was a nominee in the Goodreads Choice Awards in Debut Goodreads Author and in Mystery & Thriller for 2014.

Kubica, the author of 5 previous novels, will talk about her brand-new book, The Other Mrs., at this year's luncheon. The book's rights were recently purchased by Netflix, Netflix, which plans to make it into a feature film. Kubica will be the executive producer on this project.

The event also includes a multi-course lunch with complimentary wine, a silent auction and raffle, and book sales and signings.

LitLUNCH! is the kick-off to Literary Feast, the Broward Public Library Foundation’s annual fundraising event. This year’s event begins at 11:15 a.m. at the Mary N. Porter Riverview Ballroom at the Broward  Center for the Performing Arts (201 SW 5th Ave, Fort Lauderdale).

LitLUNCH! 2020 co-chairs are Catalina Avalos of Tripp Scott, Laurie Menekou of Conceptual Communications, and Kristin Wurzak of Dayton Granger.

Tickets are $110 and include a signed copy of The Other Mrs. Proceeds support Broward County Library children’s literacy programs and services funded by the Broward Public Library Foundation.
