Author of The Story of Arthur Truluv will be Guest of Honor at Broward Public Library Foundation’s Annual LitLUNCH!
 

LitLUNCH!, a professional women’s lunch that kicks off Literary Feast, will host author Elizabeth Berg
 

FORT LAUDERDALE, Fla. – November 1, 2018 – The Broward Public Library Foundation welcomes author Elizabeth Berg to the 10th annual LitLUNCH! Elizabeth has been published in thirty counties and has had a play and three movies adapted from her stories. Her 2017 novel,The Story of Arthur Truluv has been featured in USA Today, Chicago Tribune and The Boston Globe to name a few.
 

Berg, the author of 19 novels, will talk about her brand-new book, Night of Miracles, whose characters, first encountered in The Story of Arthur Truluv, learn about the strength of love, friendship and community in the beloved small-town of Mason, Missouri.
 

The event includes a multi-course lunch with complimentary wine, silent auction and raffle, and book sales and signings. This year, jewelry design firm Kendra Scott will sell items at the event, and donate a portion of the proceeds to the Broward Public Library Foundation. For the fourth year, The Haller Foundation is the event’s Presenting Sponsor. 
 

LitLUNCH! is the kick-off to Literary Feast, the Broward Public Library Foundation’s annual fundraising event. This year’s event begins at 11:15 a.m. at the Mary N. Porter Riverview Ballroom at the Broward  Center for the Performing Arts (201 SW 5th Ave, Fort Lauderdale).
 

LitLUNCH! 2019 co-chairs are Catalina Avalos of Tripp Scott attorneys at law, Jill Horowitz of Brightline, and Laurie Menekou of Conceptual Communications.
 

Tickets are $100 and include a signed copy of Night of Miracles. Proceeds support Broward County Library children’s literacy programs and services funded by the Broward Public Library Foundation.
