Mission Statement

The Broward Public Library Foundation has a fiduciary responsibility to ensure that all gifts are used for the purposes intended by the donors.

To ensure the efficient use of private funds, the Library Foundation has establishes an Investment Committee to provide financial oversight for the accounting, management, and investment of all funds.  

    
Audits are conducted annually by Robbins and Landino, a top-rated accounting and consulting firm specializing in non-profit organizations, based in Fort Lauderdale, FL.

Investments are managed by The Carroll Group at Morgan Stanley Smith Barney, who select a number of professional fund managers.

The Broward Public Library Foundation is a 501(c)(3) charitable organization registered with the IRS and with the State of Florida.
