The Broward County Library (BCL) Workforce Ready program lends either a 14” Chromebook and Hotspot or a Samsung Tablet S7 with Data Plan to qualifying residents at no charge. Designed to address the need created from the recent increase in the unemployment rate within Broward County, the goal of the program is to aid workforce and educational development for displaced workers in our community.
BCL customers impacted by the economic downturn and job loss can check out a Chromebook and Wi-Fi enabled Hotspot or a Samsung Tablet S7 with Data Plan to prepare resumes, search for jobs, engage in online interviews, and attend educational webinars to enhance their employability.
